Under the Sea Camp

Get ready to explore the deep blue sea with this fun camp that will surely thrill young dancers! At Under the Sea camp your dancer will get to experience Under the Sea themed classes from 9:00am – 11:30am Tuesday through Thursday. Students will explore acting, singing, various styles of dance and fun crafts. Get those fish tails ready and dive into excitement this summer! (COST $165)

“ANNIE” STEPPING UP TO BROADWAY CAMP

June 24 – 28, 2024 | 9AM – 12PM

Join us for a fun-filled week of singing, dancing, and acting from the heartwarming musical Annie Jr. Students will learn songs, dances, and scene work from this musical! Workshop culminates in a staged performance on the last day of camp to share with friends and family! (COST $285)

Ballet/ Contemporary/ Modern Intensive (INT/ADV)

July 1st-3rd, 2024 | 10AM-1PM

A 3-day intensive focusing on Contemporary, Modern, and Ballet techniques for INT/ADV dancers. Students will train with seasoned professionals in their respective fields; Khamla Somphamh, Odessa Uno, and Diane Cheeseman. Khamla’s dedication to Modern technique makes her an exceptional guide for aspiring dancers. With a wealth of experience and passion for contemporary dance, Odessa brings a unique blend of creativity and precision to the studio. Elevate your ballet skills under the tutelage of Diane, a seasoned professional known for her grace, expertise, and commitment to the art form.

Acro workshop with Miss Kimberly (BEG/INT/ADV)

July 9th, 2024 | 9AM-3PM (times vary depending on age group)

• Beg/Int Ages 5-9: 9-10:30 am ($40)- Class will focus on beginning fundamentals
• Int/Adv Ages 9-12: 10:45 am-12:45 pm ($45)- Class will focus on dance-based across the floor acro tricks & combinations, as well as strength and conditioning!
• Int/Adv Ages 12+: 1-3 pm ($45)- Class will focus on dance-based across the floor acro tricks & combinations, as well as strength and conditioning!

BROADWAY BOUND

July 8 – 19, 2024 | 9AM – 12PM

A two-week musical theatre intensive Monday – Friday from 9 am-12 pm designed for students who love to do it all. Students are separated by age/level and will rotate between classes in Acting, Dance, Vocal Fundamentals and Production classes. Camp culminates in a staged performance on the last day of camp to share with friends and family! This camp tends to sell out, so early registration is recommended. (COST $495 for two weeks)

BROADWAY BOUND EXTENSION: WEEK 1 AUDITION PREP & THEATRE GAMES

July 8 – 12, 2024 | 12PM-2PM

Looking to brush up on your audition skills for upcoming musical auditions? Never auditioned before and curious about the process? This extension is great for you! CPAA is holding auditions for a winter musical during the month of September, and this would be a perfect space to practice or learn how to slate, gather information on how to put together your resume, and pick that perfect audition song! And don’t forget about all those fun theatre games we will be playing as well! (COST $95 per week)

BROADWAY BOUND EXTENSION: WEEK 2 IMPROVE WITH IMPROV

July 15 – 10, 2024 | 12PM-2PM

Improvisational skills are the perfect building block for any actor! This extension is perfect for the young actor who loves playing theatre games and learning perfect skills to “yes, and!” any theatrical situation. If you’re looking to have some fun, this extension is right for you! (COST $95 per week)

DANCE-A-MANIA DANCE CAMP

July 23 – 26, 2024 | 9AM – 12PM

Great for dancers with 3 and fewer years of experience. Students will have tons of fun rotating between musical theater, jazz, lyrical, ballet, leaps & turns, and tumbling. Suggested for first year competition company dancers and those interested in joining for the 2024 season. Culminates in a studio showing for friends and family.(COST $235)

BREAKTHROUGH LEAPS AND TURNS INTENSIVE WITH CHRISTINE KOLLAR (INT/ADV)

July 30th – August 1st, 2024 | 8:30AM-1PM (times vary depending on age)

Intensive workshop designed for dancers who want to take their craft to the next level! This camp will include a dynamic warm up with Miss Lauren, a one-hour leaps & turns class with Miss Christine, and finish with a 45-minute Pilates-based stretch & strength class with Miss Amber! This is ideal for intermediate/advanced dancers who would like to refine their technique!(COST $200 for full day or $75 per day)

GREASE MUSICAL WORKSHOP PRODUCTION

August 5 – 9, 2024 | 9AM – 2PM

Looking to take your acting skills to the next level? Beyond Broadway is for you! This condensed production of Grease is for ages 6th grade and up, focusing on the creative process of putting on a production. Students will rotate between classes focused on music, choreography, acting and improvisation. Audition and casting will be held the first day of camp. Camp culminates in a staged performance on the last day of camp to share with friends and family! (COST $375)
