CARLSBAD PERFORMING ARTS ACADEMY.
Carlsbad Performing Arts Academys was founded with a mission to create an environment in which artist of all ages could explore and expand their passion for the arts, as well as share their creative gifts and experience the joy of performing for a live audience. Although some of our classes offer performance opportunities, the overall mission of CPAA is to inspire each one of its students to believe in themselves and the beautiful unique gift that they are to this world.
DANCE
We at CPAA dedicate ourselves to well-rounded quality training that encompasses a strong technical foundation accompanied by the craft of encouraging each student to develop their individual artistry. Classes vary between multiple disciplines of dance, ages, level and ability making CPAA a wonderful home for any dancer and performing artist.
THEATRE
CPAA's award winning theatre program is comprised of musical theatre, acting classes, workshops and full stage productions. Whether performing in our onsite fifty seat black box theatre, or at an outside venue, we strive to make our student's experience one that is not only educational, but that is dedicated to building self-esteem, creativity, and memories that last a lifetime.
MUSIC
CPAA offers a variety of private and semi-private instruction in Voice, Piano, and Guitar from highly qualified instructors that are sure to inspire new to even the most advanced musical performing artist
ARTISTIC EXPRESSION
We believe in the philosophy that the performing arts are one of most transformational tools in developing one's sense of self. It's amazing what things can happen when students are given the opportunity to share their creative ideas and express them both in class and in front of an audience. Whether it is an in class project, a student written play or scene, or a student choreographed dance showcase, CPAA remains dedicated to allowing student growth through opportunities to challenge one's creative ideas and all forms of expression.
QUALITY TRAINING
One of the most important aspects of becoming a dancer, actor, singer (or all of the above) is quality training that supports longevity as an artist. Proper technique is essential in not only building a strong foundation but in preventing injuries that could prevent a student from enjoying their love of the arts for a lifetime. From our facility to each individual instructor, CPAA strives to create an environment that designed to be safe, effective and provide only the best atmosphere for proper training and technique.
PERSONALIZATION
At CPAA we realize individuals are just that, individual, which is why we aspire to create a program that fits each student's personal needs through careful class selection and suggested program options. Whether our students aspire to become a competitive dancer, musical theatre professional, or to simply be introduced to the arts for the first time, we dedicate ourselves to making sure each student and family is guided every step of the way. If our students goals can be reflected in their progress and performance, we believe we have succeeded.
